Denial is one of the most common defense mechanisms that we all use, pretending that an uncomfortable thing did not happen.
Every day as a society we are bombarded with visual messages telling you what to do, what to eat, how to dress, how to be, etc etc. Denial is challenging you to Wash Your Brains.
Denial’s artwork and street art challenges us as a viewer and as a society to take a step back and take a look at ourselves. Artists are silently trying to make them be heard through their works. Using visually interesting techniques, pleasing colors and well thought out plays-on–words or slogans, Denial makes his point heard or seen for that matter.
As with all of Denial's work, Wash Your Brains showcases a great use of techniques. Denial uses stencils and aerosol paint in layers to build a visually interesting artwork. Denial also isn’t afraid to “rough up” his work. By using different sanding techniques he adds another layer to the images. Wash Your Brains is a great addition to any art collection.

About the Artist
Location: Windsor, Canada
DENIAL is two things in one - a superb street artist and incontrovertible proof that our Canadian neighbors are not mere sideline onlookers to this burgeoning scene. His pseudonym is "an alphanumerical phonetic mix-up representing his first name" and his goal as a mixed media and graffiti artist is to lash out at the stale decadence of mass advertising, politics, and media entities.
