Xeme is a Hong Kong based graffiti artist. He started writing graffiti in 2001 and since then his works is primarily dedicated to letters and patterns. Coming from a city where graffiti art barely existed, Xeme got his influence from the small Asian graffiti community and artists that passed by this big continent.
Throughout different times, Xeme has been painting in Chinese characters and sometimes with Chinese calligraphy on his canvas works in order to represent his background.
In the present day, Xeme’s works is well respected in Asia and also gave him the opportunity to travel around Asia to showcase his art works. However, he is never satisfied with his creations and he continues to develop a new flavour every time he paints.
Xeme’s endeavors have had a large impact on the Asian scene, he stands tall as a profound contributor to Chinese graffiti.
