We're thrilled to present an exclusive series of fine art editions by acclaimed photographer Dennis Morris!

Known best for his intimate photographs of Bob Marley and The Sex Pistols, Morris also documented domestic life in Hackney, East London during the 1960s and 70s. This series captures the first generation of Britons to call itself 'black', as opposed to 'colored'.

Remastered from the original black & white film negatives, these stunning shots were colorized by the artist and separated into multi-layered screen prints specially for this fine art release!

"I was taking photographs at a pivotal time for black people in Britain, politically and culturally. Suddenly we weren’t coloured people anymore – we were black. It was a question of pride and of self-definition."
–Dennis Morris
