About this Art
The framing option for this RUN includes a 1 Inch Black Wood Frame with UV-Glass, foam core backing and ready to hang hardware.
"American Dream is inspired by the homeless guy who was holding Starbucks cup asking for money. There are a lot of homeless people in New York, but they are invisible in between skyscrapers. We painted him bigger than the empire state building so he can be noticed more." - Icy & Sot
This RUN comes signed, numbered and with a Certificate of Authenticity from Icy & Sot and 1xRUN.
ICY (born 1985) and SOT (born 1991) are stencils artists from Tabriz Iran, currently based in Brooklyn, NY. They continue on their creative crusade to dismantle preconceived perceptions of a fleeting Iranian tradition through their striking stencil artwork. Since 2006, they have made paramount accomplishments in Iranian urban art culture as both skaters and artists, creating an international buzz by playing it any way but safe, their works are about peace, war, society issues and human rights .The two brothers have held numerous exhibitions around the world and their out door works have been seen on the streets of Iran, turkey, Paris, San Francisco and New York among many others.
