The framing option for this RUN includes a 1 Inch Black Wood Frame complete with UV glass, foam core backing & ready to hang hardware.
"I've been inspired by the indigenous people of Brasil - the culture, the folklore, and their beautiful body paint. I've recently come across a collection of tribal names that spark ideas for my paintings. Specifically in this case, the name Arabi, which translates to ' beautiful tears,' was significant as I was going thru a rough patch." - Tatiana Suarez
This RUN comes signed, numbered and with a Certificate of Authenticity from Tatiana Suarez and 1xRUN.
Tatiana Suarez is an artist based of out Miami, Florida. Her charming style is distinctive -- the trademark eyes draw the viewer into a beautiful and surreal world. Rich with symbols that stem from her Brazilian and El Salvadorian heritage, subjects appear as if they are under water, frozen in lovely stillness. The doe-eyed figures look childlike, but also exude sexual overtones, ornamented with plants, insects and other unsettling accompaniments. Beauty is presented concurrently with exotic -- even creepy -- creatures to create enchanted narratives.
