About this Art
This piece of original artwork is ready to hang.
"As an artist I have a deep and passionate respect to the forefathers of the Pop Art Movement. Some of my greatest influence has come from Andy Warhol and Roy Lichtenstein. They planted the seeds in the latter part of the 20th century which changed peoples perception of art. It's remarkable when a handful of individuals can spawn a revolution that will continue for many years to come, well into the 21st century. They created a paradigm shift in how art was to be interpreted and became the legendary masters.
Pop Art has had a major influence on my work in recent years. Traditional Pop pays homage to Roy Lichtenstein in particular. Using Lichtenstein’s signature style as a backdrop, I allow my own graffiti-abstract techniques to infiltrate the canvas with each new layer. The end result is both a throwback to one of the masters as well as my own personal take on the movement." - Sen2
This piece of original artwork is signed by Sen2 and includes an Original Artwork Letter of Provenance from 1xRUN.
Hailing from the South Bronx by way of Santurce, a district of San Juan Puerto Rico, Sen2 is one of hardest working contemporary artists in the world today. With graffiti-abstract paintings adorning the walls of galleries throughout Europe and the Americas, he uses vibrant colors, bold lettering, and a streetwise sensibility all his own to push limits of fine art with every new canvas and installation.
