About The Work
About The Artist

This RUN includes a 1 inch white wood frame with UV-glass, foam core backing and ready to hang hardware.

Note: Each print is uniquely hand painted and will vary from the image shown.

"Brad & I worked with 1XRun's master printer Jonny Alexander to create these collaborative multiples during the week leading up to our shows. The process was fun because we more or less traded layer for layer - hand painting textures or marks & adding screen printed layers from our cache - Brad brought the hard graphic approach & I did the loose stuff and the faces. Jonny enabled us to try as many techniques as possible, making each of these a completely unique work." - Askew One

ABOUT THE ARTIST:
Askew One is a multi-disciplinary artist mostly renowned for his graffiti art paintings. Widely regarded as one of the New Zealand graffiti scene’s driving forces, he has managed to remain at the forefront of the movement (both in New Zealand and throughout the world) whilst working tirelessly behind the scenes in a diverse array of projects.

Askew’s indoor canvas works are influenced by double exposure photography, bold illustrative lines reflective of comic books and the graphic power of the letter. This is also seen in his public mural works in which his attraction to ‘bigger is better’ is highly precedent.

Beastman (Bradley Eastman) is an multidisciplinary artist from Sydney, Australia. Influenced by the biodiversity, symbolism and design aesthetics behind nature’s repetitive geometric growth patterns and organic landscapes, Beastman's studio paintings, commercial projects and public murals explore a unique visual language, depicting future environments of abstracted landscapes, potential new life forms and human intervention.

One of the most distinctive and prolific emerging contemporary artists from Australia, Beastman has exhibited his artworks extensively around the world, has curated and organised numerous international art exhibitions and projects, and has been commissioned by the likes of Element, Facebook, Vivid Sydney, Mini, Westfield, Red Bull, Stockland, Bose, Hyundai, Smirnoff and more. His artwork was recently acquired by the National Gallery of Australia, and his large solo and collaborative mural works can be found all over Australia and around the world.
