Baraa is a Moroccan writer, photographer, and filmmaker based in Southeast Michigan. Often told through a vérité and conversational style, her personal work centers on religion, immigration, and identity. She loves to explore language within her art and the way those living between cultures blend it. She's worked with Teen Vogue, This American Life, National Geographic Explorer, and NPR. She currently co-hosts a Film & TV podcast called "We Went To School For This", which can be found on all streaming platforms.
