"This abstract series of interconnected paintings on wood are a further expansion of my ongoing body of artwork, with a definite increase in the use of colour, geometry, depth, growth patterns and movement. I developed these vibrant pieces through a disciplined repetitive process of measurement and balance at my home in Bali, Indonesia, and I think it’s visually evident in the work that I have been strongly influenced by my surrounding landscapes and cultures. The term Seminatural is in reference to the human intervention and impact on our current and future natural environments and life forms." - Beastman
