We welcome back New York City artist Bobby Hill as he returns with another wholly unique edition of his hand-painted screenprints. Bobby again highlights New York City, but this time focuses on one of the world's more recognizable bridges which connects the southeastern borough to Manhattan with "Brooklyn Bridge" .
"Each piece for this RUN was individually screen printed and hand painted using a variety of acrylic and other mediums. Along with another image these pieces were created over a two month period that started this past September. The idea for these Brooklyn Bridge images came about from a friend's suggestion after he saw that I discontinued selling another Brooklyn Bridge image. Take notice of the colors rather than the image, even though that might be difficult to do sometimes. The colors represent what's going on in my life at any given moment." - Bobby Hill

Bobby Hill (b. 1973), is the New York based visual artist whose career started as an illustrator. He began painting on canvas in 2008 after returning to the US from his first trip overseas,. His recent canvases combine ripped NYC billboard posters with elements of abstract expressionism, pop imagery and graffiti... to create what he calls “The Bhillboards Collection.”
His work has been commissioned by Coca Cola, Nike, XXL Magazine, Slam Magazine, The Source Magazine and The James Luxury Hotels. He has also been featured in Mass Appeal Magazine, Gen Art, Max Fish, The Grey Worldwide Gallery, The Art Directors Club, a number of events in Chelsea, Soho, Williamsburg, Bushwick NYC and several galleries in Europe. He briefly founded his own brand of bOB hiLL t-shirts and has sold countless artworks to various celebrity buyers.
In 2010, Bobby Hill produced his first art event and promoted it by hiding $50,000 worth of art prints around the streets and trains of NYC.
Since then, he toured Europe in Spring 2012 (Barcelona, Copenhagen and Freiburg Germany), was the featured artist at The James Royal Palm Hotel in South Beach during Art Basel Miami 2012, sold out two print editions on 1xrun.com and did two art events in Beverly Hills during Oscar week 2013. In addition, he collaborated with the home décor store CB2 for a limited edition print release, which also sold out. Based on this success, he dedicated 2014 to expanding the amount of retailers that carry his prints. Currently, he is sold at 20–25 retail home décor and gift shops.
In 2015, he unveils his newest collection of original paintings titled “It Had To Happen This Way.”
