Citlali Haro is a Mexican visual artist based in Mexico City who was raised in the sonoran desert. Her work is always trying to create a narrative based on surreal dreams and everyday situations with tints of irony using a mix of both digital and analogical tools.
Some of the strongest themes in her work are the struggle with mental illnesses, existentialism and the constant critique of domestic comfort while the world is literally in a constant war, besides the war inside ourselves… as individuals.
She has worked for brands like Adidas, Bimba y Lola, Apple, Beefeater among others and has exhibited in places like Sidney, Miami and Mexico City.
She currently works as a freelancer in her little home studio with her cat.
"I like to think of my work as a mix of a lovely dream and a nightmare, just like life is." –Citlali Haro
