"These prints were inspired by a painting I did last year as part of the ongoing 'Mantra Mandala Series' where art can become a tool for meditation. I recreated it here using hand-painted color separations specifically for this release. These are printed on 100% cotton rag, using hand-painted color separations done in acrylic.
This is something I've been seeing in my mind, but I've always imagined the rings rotating like a Tibetan prayer wheel where each rotation is equivalent to reciting the mantra out loud. Hence, I decided to use the same mantra, OM MANI PADME HUM (the Jewel In the Lotus). Basically, this print is just a freeze frame of that vision." - Cryptik
This RUN is signed, numbered and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity from Cryptik and 1xRUN.
These prints are printed at Serio Press by master printer Tony Clough.

ABOUT Cryptik:
Cryptik, a Los Angeles based artist, creates works of art that explore the realm of spirituality and consciousness. His iconic depictions of deities and spiritual leaders, along with his signature style of calligraphy, can be seen throughout Los Angeles, adorning the urban landscape and galleries alike.
The Cryptik Movement is a public art campaign dedicated to helping humanity evolve towards greater awareness and understanding through the use of compelling, iconic imagery that demands both scrutiny and reverie.
Cryptik creates from a palette of wonder, where all science, math, and true art spring from equal mystery. His is a clear-eyed art practice of more questions asked than answered. The Southern Californian creative’s intricate, almost trance-inducing works—be they on mammoth walls, slap stickers, or hanging in galleries—find voice in images of spiritual universality. By his hand, Eastern philosophical thought and mantras hypnotically merge with the black letter bombing of cholo writing. The ancient and the sacred marry in a modern quest—through art—for conscious awakening and awareness. - Jamie Maleszka (Mass Appeal)
