ABOUT THIS ART

The framing option for this RUN includes a 1 inch black wood frame with UV-glass, foam core backing and ready to hang hardware.

"This series was created as an expression of my love for outer space, as well as a visual interpretation of the inner space that exist within the human soul. As vast and infinite as the universe is, I believe we are all connected to it within each one of us and the force that animate our bodies is deep, infinite, and everlasting. I thought that using the image of the astronaut is a powerful way to show this connection." - Dan Armand

ABOUT THE ARTIST:
Since co-founding 1xRUN, Dan Armand has had a crucial role in developing the company’s visual aesthetic. A College for Creative Studies illustration graduate, Dan worked a variety of design jobs before moving on to work at 1xRUN full-time. He and Jesse met while Jesse was filming a street art doc in Detroit in 2003 — Dan went from subject of the doc to helping create it, logging tapes for the project (and getting school internship credit in the process).
