"This series relates to what a good friend and I call "Spirits." I feel like right now in Los Angeles there’s an explosion of weird breeds wondering around and they're completely high on something. Everything is changing in such a dynamic way in Los Angeles that things just aren't the same as they used to be here.
I feel that growing up in Hollyweird and being in the center of the media capital of the world, it has always had a shadow of alcohol and drugs. These characters represent me seeing all the dilution of the rat race. All the thoughts that are evolved in one city, as well as political failures, that it truly can create one hell of an imagination. Also seeing Tim Burton’s work mixed with Salvador Dali. Ralph Steadman has also always made me push my imagination as far as possible." - Doctor Eye
