ABOUT Ffty:
Paul “Fifty” Johnson explores the idea of color as an artist and colored as a person while questioning the lack of representation of blacks and people of color.

Studying the representation of African Americans and other races in popular media and pairing his narrative of black commonly referred to as a shade and not a color, he began using the color black for depicting his glorified figures dubbed “Sambo Princesses”.
