ABOUT THIS ART:
This piece of original artwork comes ready to hang.
"This painting was created for the group exhibition “Lyric”. I wanted to reach back to my youth to select a song to work from, one that I had listened to over and over and will still listen to now. There were many songs that fell into that description, but I chose “Disorder” from Joy Division. I have read about what that song actually meant and I couldn’t find a real answer. The lyrics do come across as somewhat chaotic, but for me I always felt like it was about being led into an unknown place after leaving this life. That idea may come across as depressing, but with the awesome baseline, upbeat drums and with the lyrics that you can interpret in your own way it turns something that is on a sad or scary note into something that you shouldn’t be afraid of at all, as if there is still something more waiting on the other side. That song did help me through some tough times." - Jason Limon
This piece of original artwork comes signed by Jason Limon and includes an Original Artwork Letter of Provenance from 1xRUN.
