June Jung is a tattoo artist and painter. June's art explores the delicate beauty of our world, especially the female form, botanicals, and all the colors of our messy emotions. Watercolor is an especially good medium for this, and June’s vibrant and meticulous approach to painting is the basis for her tattoo style.
June was born in Busan, South Korea. After college, she started a typical career in accounting, but gave that up one day to make her way as an artist in the United States. June ultimately established herself as one of the most highly sought-after tattoo artists in the world, known for her detailed, painterly designs.
June lives in Los Angeles with her family, where she runs June Jung Art, a tattoo studio and art gallery in the Highland Park neighborhood.
