This October 1xRUN in collaboration with jeffstaple took over New York City’s Reed Space for an exhibition of exclusive fine art editions by the Detroit based publisher and hand-painted multiples featuring new work from Ricky Powell, Anthony Lister, Kevin Lyons, Naturel, Mimi Yoon and Prefab77.

For this unique exhibition, Staple has hand-picked select artists from the 1xRUN family to remix his iconic Reed Space chair, with each artist applying their unique iconography to the classic logo. In addition to the logo remix, each artist will be releasing a limited edition print.

After building a global streetwear brand, jeffstaple continues to be instrumental in bridging the fashion world with the contemporary art movement. The collection of artists Staple has curated and assembled for this exhibition hail from every corner of the diverse new contemporary movement blending, design, illustration, photography, graffiti and public art. With two equally devoted but unique fan bases, Staple and 1xRUN have found that the fans who support these designers, tastemakers, trendsetters and artists have just 1 degree of separation in terms of style and culture. This event will bring these groups together to descend upon Reed Space to celebrate the confluence of art, culture and style.

Lawrence “Naturel” Atoigue (1983) is a fine artist from Landover, Maryland. His sharp, triangular illustrations are a futuristic blend of pop and cubism, with a surrealist twist. Considered an influencer himself with a massive social media following, his talents have also attracted the eyes and ears of celebrity clients such as Swizz Beatz, Rihanna, Spike Lee, Paul Rosenberg and LeBron James, among many others. Working directly with Jay-Z on iconic apparel designs, he has also served as a Creative Collaborator for global campaigns ranging from brands like Crooks & Castles to Nike, as well as working with multi-national brands like Pepsi and the NBA
