Painted by Detroit-based mural artist Nicole MacDonald in a bold Fauvist style, portraits will be made on inch-thick recycled wood panels, coated with sealer to withstand the elements, and drilled into window moldings -- framing the portraits and securing the building. This project will serve to invigorate the community by providing thought-provoking art, disseminating local history and eliminating blight.
