Ryan Shava is a 21 year old neo-expressionist painter from East London, South Africa. Shava started painting at the tender age of 9. he started painting graffiti in Johannesburg during his adolescents and tagged poetry, which he later adapted onto the surfaces of his paintings and illustrations. Shava has a strong support base within the South African skate community and has worked with brands such as Forgive Skateboards, where he resides as resident artist and brand ambassador. Although varied in subject matter, his works have gained esteem since exhibiting at the Pretoria Museum of Arts in South Africa. His works continue to gain noteworthy attention of local and International art collectors.
