"Air Max are honestly my favorite Nike shoes, 95s, 720s, Vapormax & 90s just to name a few...I was excited when 1xRun reached out to me to be a part of the Air Max Day Release! For my collection I cross referenced different aspects of Pop Culture with cartoon characters and movies along with a few of my favorite Air Max’s, the Legendary Nike swoosh, and my own unique style to come up with 15 wildly original artworks. I imagined myself designing for Nike and how I could use my fine art & graffiti elements to push the concept even further. I used pencil, India ink, and a lot of traditional graffiti mediums to create that streetscape texture plus gallery aesthetic." - Sheefy
