ABOUT THIS ART:
"In early December 1983 I flew to the cold, wet, windy and wonderful Orkney Islands, off the coast of Scotland, to shoot photos of Dave Stewart and Annie Lennox as Eurythmics filmed the iconic Here Comes The Rain Again video. Windswept Annie suffered for her art, wading in icy waters, wandering amongst the chickens in the rainy dark night dressed in a nightie, singing with only candles for warmth and light in an evocative 16th century stone Croft. In these two photos, she is clad in producer Jon Roseman’s furry overcoat topped with a colorful blanket that was probably loaned by our hosts at the Standing Stones hotel in Stromness. That’s Annie Lennox - always beautiful, always gracious, always accommodating, always an artist with integrity and heart."

ABOUT Steve Rapport:
Rock 'n' roll photographer Steve Rapport has captured some of the UK's most pivotal rock moments spanning the years 1980-1994. Steve left the UK and headed for the San Francisco Bay Area in June 1992, and has lived there ever since. Meanwhile, his photo archive lived in filing cabinets in his friend Rod's garage in Oxfordshire, England until the end of 2017, when photos and photographer were finally reunited.
These days Steve can usually be found at his (mostly) rock 'n' roll gallery in New Orleans, which showcases all of his artwork, plus his various magazines, photozines and note cards.
