"I created this piece when I was in a tiny village in Switzerland for another paint job. In the evening I sat in my hotel room and had the idea to draw a Pinocchio that tells us a brutal lie about our life. I don't really like to create drawings that refer to other pop cultural symbols, but I really loved the idea of Pinocchio telling us an obvious lie on our self-concept." - Vidam

Vidam was born in Budapest in Hungary and raised in Germany. He loves to draw and paint, but he's also into design and illustration and if there's some time left, he enjoys it to produce electronic dancemusic. Vidam is hungarian and means 'happy'.
