Aaron Glasson (Aka Rah Akaishi) is from Aotearoa, New Zealand but has traveled extensively for the past decade documenting, painting, drawing, and exploring our marvelous planet. His passion for the oceans and its creatures had led him to becoming Creative Director for the ocean conservation NPO, PangeaSeed. Via Aaron's expertise and dedication to the cause, he has helped to firmly establish the organization's creative identity. When not focusing on PangeaSeed projects and campaigns he works as a freelance illustrator and filmmaker. He also regularly exhibits his artwork and paints murals around the globe. Aaron is currently staying in Hawaii where PangeaSeed is based, working on various projects, and preparing for an upcoming solo show in the United States.

"In Summer of 2013 I spent some time hitchhiking and walking in Alaska. I spent a lot of time alone in the woods, and exploring little towns. I met many men, most had beards. Glorious beards full of goodness. I worked on this drawing almost daily, over a couple of weeks. It represents many different places and people I met." - Aaron Glasson

This piece of original art is signed by Aaron Glasson and includes an Original Artwork Letter of Provenance from 1xRUN.

Aaron Glasson documents and interprets his experience of living and traveling this wonderful planet through his artwork. Since working as a car dismantler, tree adventurer, art gallerist, and fish and chip cooker in his homeland of New Zealand, he moved on to become an ocean activist in Antarctica, snowboard instructor in Japan, university professor in Sri Lanka, and video journalist around the world. He now resides in California as a freelance creative director and artist while continuing to travel the planet leaving behind murals, paintings, drawings, installations and films.
