About The Artist

Due to sizing this RUN is unavailable with framing.

"Matt and I first worked together on some pieces for a collaborative show "Street Language" at Woodward gallery back in 2007/08 and have collaborated a few time since then.

This piece was part of a theme Matt and I were building on a few years ago but hadn’t finalized until now. Essentially we both wanted to share some of our favorite television eras which broadcast a lot of pop culture dating back from the 50's through the 80's and come up with a consistent series, this being one of a few." - Avone

This RUN is signed, numbered and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity from Avone, Matt Siren and 1xRUN.

Avone

Avone is the quintessential New York artist. Through his work, AVONE creates a reimagined urban environment wrought with images of a distinctive and gritty vision of decay. The artist’s work is mainly influenced by the city he calls home, as well as abstract expressionist Franz Kline and Andy Goldsworthy, whose work has inspired the Fragmenting of his writing and self-developed textural surfaces. AVONE’s illustrious list of clients includes global cable television network, ESPN, as well as the men’s professional basketball league, the NBA.

Matt Siren

Matt Siren originates from Queens, NY. His art is heavily stimulated by images from the 1980's cartoons, video games, graffiti, heavy metal cd covers and posters in the Art Nouveau style, pinup and the emergence of modern day (computer generated) graphic design & branding. His work is iconic - both clean and gritty, using clean lines over textural backgrounds. In 2005, he created “Ghost Girl” as his signature icon in representing his current work. Matt's work can been seen in clothing lines by Better Days Clothing, skateboards by Reciprocal Skateboards, RoyalFlush Magazine, and numerous galleries in the NYC area.
