Born in Hong Kong and raised in New Zealand for the last twenty years, Berst has become a driving force in the New Zealand Graffiti scene.
His first influences in Graffiti were a mix of traditional New York based letter shapes and West Coast wildstyle, since then his influences now come from the people he meets around the world and the local scene in New Zealand.
After ten years of painting, his most recent works are an exploration into new letter shapes, colour theory and a variety of techniques / effects.
Berst is part of the world-renowned Gbak and Tmd crews, he work’s side by side with fellow crew member Askew One, as they focus on pushing as many boundaries as possible and putting New Zealand at the forefront of Graffiti around the world.
Berst’s artwork can be found throughout New Zealand, Australia, America, Asia, and Europe.
