ABOUT THE ARTIST:
This self-taught street artist, Evoca, was born in Dominican Republic, where he spent his childhood drawing on walls and playing baseball, and has been living since he’s 11 years old in Florida, always tried to combine his draughtsman skills with his will of social commitment. His nickname so refers to the Spanish word “evocar” (to evoke) and expresses his wish to mobilize through the emotion the public consciousness about the difficulties the impoverished people have to face.
