Small Joys | Original Artwork by Maxine McCrann

We are elated to debut an exclusive collection of original paintings and collages by Toronto-based multi-disciplinary artist Maxine McCrann! 

As an illustrator, florist, plant adorer, and dog mom, McCrann wears several hats. Her art career began after she left her hometown of New York City for Detroit, and now lives and works out of Toronto. She's illustrated for the Metro Times, Mic, Pipette, and countless others.

McCrann’s work often focuses on some of life's greatest pleasures: wine, food, flowers, and bold colors. This collection, however, was created with feelings of solitude in mind. 

“The isolation of the past years brought forth a greater emphasis on small joys and how greatly they can impact one’s life and well-being. Focusing on the joys of solitude and the bliss of eventual togetherness, I use many types of media to exemplify these complex feelings.” –Maxine McCrann
